Investment platform to open for an initial USD 10 million direct co-investment commitment into ready-to-built projects in Thailand and Vietnam of up to 50 MW.
With an advanced short-term project pipeline contracted to financially strong PPA off-takers and extremely attractive investment returns, GA Power is now evaluating potential co-investment partnerships for its Independent Solar Power Producer (ISPP) HoldCo. The growth segment of commercial and industrial (C&I) PV solar infrastructure in ASEAN will be the focus of the asset portfolio. GA Power ISPP’s strategy is to build, operate and later divest to low-yield infrastructure investors. The ISPP will not be exposed to development risk.
GA Power’s unique set-up as a fully integrated solar company in private ownership led to an investment structure for its ISPP that provides a unique value proposition although considering an exceptional risk management for its future investment partner.
