German ASEAN Power (GA Power) signs agreement with Indorama Polyester Industries PCL for the supply of solar roof-top EPC services for its manufacturing facilities.
The first solar power plant installation of 850 kWp in capacity will be carried out on Indorama Polyester Industries’ production facilities in Nakhon Pathom, Thailand.
To further its operations sustainability targets and to benefit from low-cost clean solar power supply, Indorama Polyester Industries PLC after an intensive competitive evaluation effort has chosen GA Power as its partner for carrying out EPC services and construct roof-top solar power plants on its manufacturing facilities. GA Power will also provide operation and maintenance (O&M) services for those solar power plants. The first roof-top solar power plant will be installed on Indorama’s manufacturing plant in Nakhorn Pathom, Thailand, which is the group’s longest running operation facility (since 1997).
GA Power and Indorama Polyester Industries PLC signed a general agreement in Bangkok, Thailand, on September 27th. The leading producer of petrochemicals also operates manufacturing facilities in the Southeast Asian countries of Thailand, Indonesia, Myanmar and the Philippines.
