German ASEAN Power (GA Power) has been awarded the EPC contract for the engineering, procurement, and construction of a 1.1 MW ground-mounted solar power plant in Dong Hoi, Vietnam. When completed Q3/2018, it will be GA Power’s first solar project in Vietnam and one of the first solar projects completed under the recently introduced Vietnamese solar feed-in-tariff program.
The solar power plant will be installed at the premises of VNP, a lighthouse project for renewable energies in Vietnam. VNP currently already operates a modern high-end waste-to-energy facility and is in the process of setting up solar, bio-gas and wind power generation plants.
